Pork ear lentil stew

Ingredients for 4 persons:

  • 1 package of cooked Fergonvi chopped pork ear
  • 4 generous handfuls of brown lentils
  • A pinch of salt
  • A couple of leaves of laurel
  • Sweet paprika (a spoon of coffee)
  • Chopped onion (quantity to taste)
  • 1 garlic
  • A splash of extra virgin olive oil

This is how we cook it:

1. Fill a pressure cooker with water. The amount of water can vary depending on your pot, but the ideal is between a liter and a liter and a half of water.

2. Add the brown lentils. You can also use Castilian lentils, but the former are faster to cook, and do not need to be soaked.

3. Add the cooked chopped pork ear directly from the bag.

4. Season your stew with salt, a little paprika, chopped onion (raw, not fried), bay leaves and garlic.

5. Boil in the pot at maximum pressure for 45 minutes.

You already have a traditional stew, very quickly and easily ready to eat!
